Smiles and rolls...

2 things can make this Mama proud of her youngest...smiles, and rolls. Nate (also known as chicken legs) was born early enough that he hadn't gotten too much of that first layer of fat underneath his skin. Result - skinny little chicken legs and arms, and skin that looked a bit like it was a size too big in spots. I'm happy to say that at now 4 weeks old (eek, how did that happen?!), Nate has started to get rolls in his thighs, and his fingers and neck are getting a little chubby, he's got a bit of a belly, his cheeks are filling out. In short, he's trending toward chubby baby. We've been doing a lot of middle of the night (and all day long) bonding to make that happen, but it is all worth it. And my other proud moment - he's smiling - still debatable on whether they're really smiles or not, but we'll take them. Looks like he might have the same dimple as Will, and his eyes are starting to look blue, so they may end up with the same eyes too.
