The first of the newborn group kids turned one this week, so we attended Will's first birthday party for a friend. Happy Birthday Cole!! It was a lovely afternoon for everyone (many thanks to Donna and Peter for their wonderful hospitality and generosity!) - and Will did a great job interacting with the other kids and grownups. He was a little bit shy at the beginning, but seemed to get his bearings, and then said "see ya Mommy!" and played for most of the afternoon. By the time we left, he was absoutely exhausted, and dirty! He was an absolute dirt magnet today - not exactly sure how that happened, but I suppose at some point I'll have to get used to it! Unfortunately not all of the kids/parents could make the party, but we did manage a picture with everyone that was there - from left to right below: Emmerson, Cole (the birthday boy!), Jonathan, Millie and Will. :-) Other new pictures posted in the 9-11 month album as well...
